BALDWIN, Shirley Franklin

Shirley Franklin Baldwin, 71 died at 8 pm. Sunday at his home, 1014 E Main St. He had been seriously ill two weeks. Born April 1, 1887 in Montgomery County, he was the son of Charles Milton and Ida Carver Baldwin. He was married three times. His first marriage was to Lela Jones who died  in 1935. His second marriage was to Martha Dossett who died in 1954. He is survived by his third wife, Henrietta Evans Baldwin. They were married Feb 4, 1956. Mr. Baldwin was a member of Union Chapel EUB church. He was a farmer and was also in the trucking business. Survivors in addition to the widow are a daughter, Mrs. Leta Pulliam of Ladoga; a son, Charles Baldwin of Bainbridge; six stepchildren, five grandchildren, one great grandchild; and two nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m Tuesday at Hunt & Son Fun Home with Rev. Frank Hoss officiating. Interment will be in the Masonic Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home. - kbz
